Terms of Service

Last updated 17 August 2026

These terms cover your use of Fasadogled, a facade inspection tool operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS], company number [REG NO], VAT [VAT NO] ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

Fasadogled lets you upload photographs of buildings, mark defects on them, collect close-up photographs from people you share a link with, and export reports. We provide it on an "as is" basis and aim to keep it available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised. You must be at least 18 and using the service for a trade or business.

Share links

Inspections can be shared through a link containing a secret token. Anyone holding that link can view the inspection and upload photographs to it without an account. Treat it as you would a password: share it only with your crew, and use "Create a new link" to revoke it when a job ends.

Your content

You keep all rights to the photographs, descriptions and reports you put into Fasadogled. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service — storing your files, processing them to generate reports, and backing them up. We do not sell your content and we do not use it to train anything.

You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload, including any necessary permission to photograph the property concerned.

Acceptable use

Don't use Fasadogled to store unlawful material, to infringe anyone's rights, to attempt to breach its security, or to place unreasonable load on it. We may suspend accounts that do, and will tell you why where we lawfully can.

Plans and payment

The free plan is free. Pro is billed in advance, monthly or annually, at the price shown on our pricing page. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, who act as merchant of record and are the seller for the transaction; their terms also apply to the purchase, and they issue your invoice and handle VAT.

You can cancel at any time and Pro remains active until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part-used periods, though if something has gone wrong on our side, write to us and we will sort it out. If we change the price we will give you at least 30 days' notice before it applies to you.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and delete your inspections at any time. If you ask us to close your account we will delete your content within 30 days, except where we must keep records for accounting or legal reasons.

Liability

Fasadogled is a documentation tool, not a structural assessment. It records what you and your team observe. It does not inspect anything, does not detect defects, and does not tell you whether a building is safe. Professional judgement about a building's condition remains entirely yours.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or in the app before taking effect. These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and disputes go to the courts of [COURTS]. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections in your country of residence still apply.

Privacy Policy

This explains what personal data Fasadogled handles and why. The controller is [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS], contact [CONTACT EMAIL].

A note on photographs of buildings

Facade photographs can incidentally capture people, vehicles, registration plates or the interiors of windows. You control what you upload. Where a photograph contains identifiable people, you are the controller of that image and are responsible for having a basis to collect it; we process it on your behalf. Avoid uploading photographs where the subject is a person rather than the building.

Cookies

We set a session cookie to keep you signed in and a CSRF cookie to protect form submissions. Both are strictly necessary, so we don't ask for consent for them. There is no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking on this site.

Who else processes it

  • Hetzner — hosting and storage (EU)
  • Paddle.com Market Ltd — payments, invoicing and VAT
  • [EMAIL PROVIDER] — transactional email such as password resets

Data is stored in the EU. We do not sell personal data to anyone.

How long we keep it

Your content stays until you delete it or close your account, after which we remove it within 30 days. Invoices and accounting records are kept as long as tax law requires. Server logs are rotated within 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, or ask for it in a portable form. Email [CONTACT EMAIL] and we will respond within one month. If you are a rope worker whose name appears in someone's inspection, contact the company that sent you the link — they control that record — or write to us and we will pass it on.

You can also complain to your data protection authority. In Slovenia that is the Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec).

Security

Traffic is encrypted with TLS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in readable form. Inspections are readable only by their owner, people they have been shared with, and holders of the share link, which the owner can revoke at any time.
